• Ensure your vehicle is connected to the app with all services active including: Standard, Remote and Smart Services. Don’t forget to bring the phone with you!
• Check you have enough charge for a 20-mile drive.
• Record the starting mileage, range, and battery level.

Top Tip: We’d recommend that the vehicles battery has less than 80% so you can experience the charging speeds.

• Locate a public DC charge point (~20 miles away) using the Multimedia screen, MyToyota/Lexus Link app (using the maps function), or ZapMap.
• Reset the average m/kWh reading on the dash by navigating the menu (using the button on the left side of the steering wheel) and holding “OK.”
• Hit the road and enjoy the ride! Drive as you normally would, use the A/C, and settle in for a smooth, comfortable and quiet journey.

• Before charging, note battery %, mileage, and range. Compare this to miles driven.
• Plug in and activate My Room Mode to stay comfortable.
• Observe how A/C usage impacts energy consumption.
• Record the charge point’s power and cost per kWh.
  Top Tip: Look at the charge point display for information.
• Check the EV coaching tips in the app and what tips it offers you for the journey you’ve just completed?
• Take note of how long it took to charge and the amount of kWh added. Consider factors that could have affected the charging time, such as temperature, initial battery level etc.

• Reset efficiency metrics.
• Drive in Eco Mode with regenerative braking activated.
• Try and utilise the tips recommended by EV coaching within the app.
• Use heated seats/steering wheel instead of A/C to save energy.
• And most importantly, enjoy the drive.

• Note your return efficiency and compare it to the outbound journey.
• Check the app for journey scores and improvements.
